How to Amend Your Parking Booking at Premier Parking

How to Amend Your Parking Booking at Premier Parking

Booked your parking for an upcoming Manchester City match or a big night at Co-op Live, then realised you've entered the wrong registration plate? It happens more often than you'd think. Whether you've recently changed your car, borrowed a friend's vehicle, or simply made a typo at checkout, knowing exactly how to sort it quickly means one less thing to worry about before event day.

Here's everything you need to know about amending your booking with us, including what changes are possible, how the process works, and what our policies look like when it comes to rescheduling and cancellations.

Changing Your Vehicle Registration

This is by far the most common amendment request we receive, and the good news is that it's straightforward to handle yourself. If you need to update your vehicle registration, you can do this directly by logging into your user account on our website.

Once you're logged in, navigate to your booking and update the registration details there. No need to email us, no waiting around for a response. The system is set up to make this kind of amendment as frictionless as possible, because we know event days move fast and you've got enough on your plate.

If you do run into any difficulty, you can always reach our team at enquiries@premier-parking.co.uk and we'll get it sorted for you.

What About Rescheduling to a Different Date?

Life changes, and sometimes a fixture or concert date no longer works out. If you need to move your booking to a different event or date, this falls under our rescheduling process and works slightly differently to a simple registration update.

Here's what to expect:

  • A £15 rescheduling fee applies to any approved date or time change.
  • Rescheduling requests made within 7 days of your original booking are not guaranteed. The closer you are to the event, the less flexibility we have to accommodate changes, so if you think a date change might be needed, get in touch as early as possible.

All rescheduling requests should be sent to enquiries@premier-parking.co.uk with your booking reference, full name, and details of what you'd like to change.

Cancellations and Refunds: The Key Details

It's worth being clear on where we stand with cancellations, so there are no surprises.

If you cancel 7 days or more before your booking date, you're eligible for a refund, subject to a £10 administration fee per booking. This covers payment processing and administrative handling.

If you cancel within 7 days of your booking, the booking is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances. This includes changes to personal plans, finding alternative parking, or simply not attending. All bookings are final and non-transferable to alternative dates or events.

We apply this policy consistently and fairly, so please do factor it in when making your booking.

The one exception worth noting: if we're ever unable to provide the service due to an error on our part (such as a double booking or a confirmed space not being available), a full refund will be issued without question.

How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

If you do need to cancel and your request falls within the eligible window, email us at enquiries@premier-parking.co.uk and include the following:

  • Your booking reference
  • Your full name
  • Your reason for the request

Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 10 working days.

A Quick Reminder on How Your Booking Works

When you book through Premier Parking, you receive instant confirmation via both email and SMS, each containing your unique QR code. This code is what our stewards scan when you arrive at the gates, so make sure it's accessible on your phone before you pull up.

Our site at Canal Side Works, Hulme Hall Lane, Manchester M40 8YD is a 10 to 13-minute walk from both Co-op Live and the Etihad Stadium. If you'd rather not walk after the event, our optional shuttle bus is available to get you back to your car comfortably.

On the parking hours front, here's what to know:

  • Co-op Live events: The car park opens at 2:30pm and operates until midnight.
  • Etihad Stadium (Manchester City) events: We open 2 hours before kick-off and remain open for 1 hour after full time.

We also offer Limited Premium Early Exit parking for an extra £3.99, which is worth considering if getting away quickly after the event is a priority for you.

Got a Question? We're Easy to Reach

Whether it's a registration change, a question about your booking, or anything else, our team is on hand to help. The quickest route is always through your online account for self-serve amendments, or via email at enquiries@premier-parking.co.uk for anything more involved.

If you're still in the planning stage and haven't locked in your space yet, you can check availability and book directly at www.premier-parking.co.uk. Spaces are limited for popular events, so booking early is always the smarter move.
